Opened in 1975 under the design and supervision of Peter Thomson, a five-time British Open champion, the course underwent a major renovation in 1991 by Yukichi Kobayashi, who designed revisions at courses including Higashi-Hirono and Sumoto, transforming it into a full-fledged sand-based bent grass green. Throughout the year, guests can enjoy undulating, fast greens.
