Located midway between Asahikawa and Sounkyo on National Route 39, which leads to Daisetsuzan National Park, this course is situated in rolling terrain with views of the Daisetsuzan mountain range—the roof of Hokkaido—and the clear waters of the Ishikari River below. True to Hokkaido's character, the fairways are spacious, and the tree-separated course showcases one of designer Yasuda Kokichi's masterpieces through his skillful layout design.
