Biwa no Hira Golf Club

Biwa no Hira Golf Club is the host course for the Tohoku Mid Grand Senior Golf Championship. Adjacent to Towada Hachimantai National Park, this is a woodland course featuring valley carry holes that take advantage of the natural terrain. In particular, the signature par 3 17th hole with its dramatic stream carry is designed to inspire competitive spirit. Although the overall distance is relatively short, each hole has its own character and is highly regarded for its interesting design. Additionally, due to the naturally contoured yet flat layout of the course, motorized carts are permitted to drive on the fairways, allowing both women and senior players to enjoy a comfortable round. The clubhouse features a bright, open design inspired by larch trees that separate the courses.
