A historic and traditional hillside course that was the first to open in Iwate Prefecture. The outbound nine is separated by abundant natural forest including pine and cedar, with gentle topography and straightforward holes. With wide fairways, you can enjoy powerful long drives. The inbound nine presents a different character with tricky holes to enjoy. With many elevated and downhill shots and slightly narrower fairways, scoring becomes easier when you execute well-placed shots at key points. The greens are among the fastest in the prefecture. This is a course where you can fully enjoy the great nature of Shinyama Plateau. With luck, you might even encounter a Japanese serow! (^^)!
