Fukui Country Club is a golf course owned and operated by Accordia Golf. It opened in 1975 and is located in Sakai City, Fukui Prefecture. [Latest Navigation Now Available!] It is conveniently located approximately 3km from the Maruoka interchange on the Hokuriku Expressway, with the nearest station being Fukui Station on the JR Hokuriku Line. The course is situated east of the Fukui Plain and features a design that takes advantage of flat terrain, with cedar and pine trees separating the course. Nine ponds are strategically positioned throughout to enhance the course's challenge. Additionally, the short intervals between holes make it popular with female golfers. The course consists of three 9-hole sections: East, Middle, and West. Overall, the relatively flat layout makes for easy rounds, yet there are many holes requiring concentration, offering enjoyment for both beginners and advanced players. Notable features include greens guarded by double bunkers and demanding layouts that require precise play. Bentgrass is used on the greens, creating gentle rolling contours. Fairways are generously wide, allowing golf cart fairway access. The West Course No. 4 is a long, beautiful left dogleg par-5 and is one of the signature holes.
