Designed by Jim Fazio, regarded as one of America's finest golf architects and considered one of the big three modern golf designers. He is the nephew of the late George Fazio, and learned the fundamentals of golf play, club management, maintenance, design philosophy, and naturalistic principles from George. The hallmark of his work is striking excellence combined with fairness to both beginners and advanced players alike. His golf courses are designed so that all players, regardless of skill level, can enjoy the game. Located on a hill, our club is relatively easy for bogey golf, but challenging when targeting par or birdie. The area near the clubhouse is flat, but elsewhere features undulation with penalties awaiting errant shots. Pin positions significantly alter difficulty, requiring strategic play and sensitivity from golfers. Avoiding bunkers becomes an important test of skill. The outward nine has four holes involving water hazards, requiring more technique than the inward nine. Overall, the course demands intelligent play.
