Nara Wakakusa Country Club [Accordia Golf]

Nara Wakakusa Country Club is a golf course owned and operated by Accordia Golf. Located in Nara City, Nara Prefecture, it is a 27-hole golf course full of Japanese charm. Approximately one hour by car from Osaka. Three courses are available: the Wakakusa Course, which requires accurate shots and sound strategy; the Ikoma Course, featuring garden-like beauty; and the Yoshino Course, known for its high difficulty with hazards and creeks. The course designer is J. Miller. The signature large greens feature steep undulations with multiple significant swells, creating a complex potato chip pattern that is renowned for being challenging to conquer. Ponds and bunkers are positioned around the greens, with out-of-bounds areas beyond, requiring accurate distance and directional shots. The Ikoma Course's 3rd hole green is particularly notable for its steep undulations combined with a three-tiered green design. In addition to its diverse courses, Nara Wakakusa Country Club takes pride in its luxurious clubhouse. The building features Japanese aesthetic design with an elegant atmosphere that is opulent without being ostentatious.
