Gifu Inaguchi Golf Club is a hillside-type golf course that opened on April 23, 1986. Featuring bent grass double greens designed by master course architect Toshusuke Kato, players can enjoy excellent playing conditions year-round. Located in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, the course is conveniently situated approximately 50 minutes by car from Nagoya's central area and about 5 minutes by car from the Seki IC on the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway. By train, it is approximately 20 minutes by taxi from Shin-Unuma Station on the Meitetsu Inuyama Line. With a maximum course rating of 79.4, it is known as one of the most challenging courses in Gifu Prefecture. Among all 18 holes, the signature holes are the 2nd hole with excellent views, the 4th hole requiring a valley carry, and the 13th hole, a left dogleg involving a pond. The 2nd hole is an almost straight PAR4, but the fairway narrows before the green, and with a pond and a downsloping trap in front of the A green, careful play is required. At the PAR5 4th hole, keeping in mind that the distance to the valley is 190 yards, the key to scoring is selecting a club that allows the drive to reach near the valley and aiming to the right for the tee shot. At the PAR4 13th hole, the key is to accurately place the tee shot slightly to the right of the trees along the pond. For long hitters, even a 3-wood provides sufficient distance.
