Kansai Open held May 19-22, 2016 (Thursday-Sunday)! Please challenge the course conquered by top professionals. Known as one of Japan's premier long courses, having hosted the Wizard 9 times and the Japan-America Match 2 times, this prestigious course with a history worthy of major tournaments has been reborn with 27 holes and bent grass greens. With moderate undulation, the course has become even more enjoyable. In 2016, the 82nd Kansai Open Golf Championship, Japan's oldest open competition, was held at Hashimoto Country Club. This was the first tour event in Wakayama Prefecture in 41 years, with qualifying cut at 5-over par and the winning score at 6-under par, recalling the phrase "Oarai in the East, Hashimoto in the West." This was made possible entirely by the support and visits of all our patrons. We sincerely thank you. Additionally, starting in May, cart fairway driving is available for caddie-accompanied rounds only. Please enjoy the unique pleasures of golf.
