Since 1998, the 'Road to the Open Championship - Mizuno Open' has been held here, and it serves as the first affiliated course with the Japan Golf Tour Organization (JGTO). This rare, authentic links course in Japan features expansive, flat terrain with broad fairways, numerous large and small mounds separating each hole, and coastal breezes that hint at hazards overhead, evoking the links of Scotland. Six pools of varying sizes intertwined throughout the course and palm groves soothe the eye, yet strategically function as formidable obstacles.
