Tsuruma Country Club

Tsurumae Country Club opened in Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture in 1971, designed by Seiichi Inoue. Located approximately 2 kilometers from the Ichihara Tsurumae IC on the Kensetsudo Expressway, it provides smooth access from the Tokyo and Yokohama areas, and is also conveniently situated about 22 kilometers from Ichihara IC. The course features ponds, bridges, and valleys throughout its 700,000-tsubo grounds, earning a reputation for its strategic design. Furthermore, since 2010, it has been selected as the venue for the CyberAgent Ladies Tournament, making it an increasingly notable course. The course is divided into East and West courses, each with 18 holes for a total of 36 holes. The East Course features a water carry on the par-3 4th hole, the challenging dogleg 14th hole requiring precise shots, and the 16th hole where a drive for show is worth attempting. The West Course is protected by even more ponds, with the 17th hole being a particularly notable water-carrying middle hole. While appearing relatively open overall, this is a challenging championship course with troublesome deep rough that tests golfers. The attached practice facility features 25 bays spanning 270 yards, and also includes approach shot and bunker shot practice areas, making it ideal for warming up. The renovated clubhouse features a sophisticated, refined atmosphere. The pro shop allows for careful club fitting. The spacious restaurant offers everything from light sandwiches to chicken salt tsukemen set and iron plate miso pork grilled set, with the particularly popular menu item being ankake yakisoba, available in a small size option. After your round, you can relax in a bath with views of greenery from the windows, and the white-based powder room is fully equipped with toners and lotions. Club bus shuttle service to Goi Station is available.
