Miyajima Shiwa Country Club

Miyajima Shiwa Country Club is a golf course located in Higashi-Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, which opened in 1971. The course was designed by Tokuyuki Miyoshi, an accomplished amateur golfer who earned the nickname "precision machine" for his accurate shots. By car, the course is within 5 kilometers of the Sanyo Expressway Shiwa exit and 2 minutes from Sanyo Expressway Shiwa IC. By train, take the JR Sanyo Main Line to Hachihonmatsu Station and then approximately 10 minutes by taxi. Access is convenient at approximately 30 minutes from central Hiroshima. The course features wide fairways and minimal elevation changes, making it welcoming for beginners and women alike, allowing for an enjoyable round under open blue skies. The 4th hole features a two-tier green where the cup position is not visible, requiring careful club selection and experience, providing sufficient challenge for advanced players. Practice facilities include an approach green and putting green for reliable score improvement. The restaurant offers seasonal limited menu items at reasonable prices, and for meetings, special rooms (capacity 24) and meeting rooms (capacity 40) are available with meeting packages that include food and beverages.
