Hiroshima Golf Club Suzugamine Course is a prestigious golf course with a long history, having opened in 1952, and has produced numerous professional golfers. In 2012, it underwent renovation and was reborn with new facilities and courses. The golf course is located on the slopes of Suzugamine in the southwestern part of Hiroshima City, near the sea, with excellent access approximately 20 minutes by car from central Hiroshima and approximately 5 minutes by car from Itsukkaichi Station on the JR Sanyo Main Line. The appeal of Hiroshima Golf Club Suzugamine Course is the ability to play while enjoying views of "Aki's Miyajima," one of Japan's three great scenic spots, and the islands of the Seto Inland Sea. In particular, the view from the clubhouse restaurant is spectacular. The 18-hole hilly course with a total length of 6,420 yards has a high level of difficulty. Although the distance is short, bunkers are strategically placed throughout the course, requiring strategic play and demanding precise course management. Hole 13 in particular is a challenging course with bunkers guarding both the left and right of the green. The greens are couch grass greens, requiring careful reading of the grain for putting. Otagawa Golf Club Suzugamine Course carts are all equipped with GPS navigation for comfortable play. The clubhouse features an observation restaurant, and the bathroom is equipped with a powder room.
