NEW UI Golf Club

UI Golf Club Munakata is an oceanview golf course located in Munakata City, Fukuoka Prefecture, which opened in 2000. The 18-hole course designed by Chen Qingbo spans 6,906 yards and offers a championship-caliber experience for golfers of all levels, from beginners to advanced players, while enjoying the dynamic location with commanding views of Genkai-nada. By car, the course is approximately 18 km from either the Koga or Wakamiya interchanges on the Kyushu Expressway. By train, take the JR Kagoshima Line to Togo Station and arrive by taxi in approximately 10 minutes. The course features the Genkai Course on the outbound nine and the Tsuyazaki Course on the inbound nine, with challenging play required throughout. The outbound Genkai Course features many holes where the second shot and beyond are key, including the dogleg opening holes 3 and 4 that play long due to their uphill nature, hole 6 with scattered bunkers, and hole 8 with bunkers and a pond surrounding the green. The inbound Tsuyazaki Course also features numerous holes with strategically positioned bunkers, particularly hole 17, which despite its shorter length presents bunkers and a pond, making the choice between attempting an eagle or playing conservatively important. The restaurant offers dishes featuring ingredients distinctive to Kyushu, with the popular seafood bowl served with miso soup and salad being a signature menu item. The practice facility includes a putting green, a 40-yard approach area, and a bunker practice section, providing ample opportunity for thorough preparation.
