Shinotu New Golf Course

New Shinotsu Golf Course is a riverbed course built on the terrain of the right bank of the Ishikari River, near Sapporo. We welcome both local guests and tourists. Excellent access—approximately 50 minutes from central Sapporo by car using regular roads. By expressway: approximately 25 minutes from Ebetsu Higashi IC on the Doo Central Expressway, or approximately 20 minutes from Iwamizawa IC. By public transportation: Take the bus bound for Shin-Shinotsu Onsen from bus terminal platform No. 9 at Iwamizawa Station on the JR Hakodate Main Line (approximately 30 minutes), and get off at "Shin-Shinotsu Onsen Tappuyu." The course difficulty is relatively easy. With flat terrain, wide fairways, and riding carts permitted on all holes, the course is particularly popular among women, beginners, junior players, and especially seniors. While this straightforward course offers good scoring opportunities, the winds characteristic of riverbed courses and finely-grained bunkers and water hazards occasionally challenge players. Whether building confidence with good scores or executing the shots you envision, you'll find satisfaction here. A 300-yard driving range is also available, ensuring that intermediate and advanced golfers will be satisfied as well.
