Hilly course. True to V. Heggie's design philosophy, there is minimal elevation change, but challenging undulations have been incorporated throughout. In addition to 126 bunkers, there are over 30 grass bunkers, and the course features deeply sculptured elements including tiered greens. The front nine offers a relatively comfortable start, but players face intimidating water carries on hole 4, hole 8 with its massive bunker stretching from tee to green, and hole 9, a par 5 with the green situated in the middle of a pond. The back nine presents difficult holes from the start, with water hazards affecting key holes such as 10, 16, and 18, requiring careful attention.
