Ponds occupy approximately one-tenth of the total area and are strategically positioned throughout, making the course highly strategic—carefully plan your approach routes. The floating island short holes at holes 8 and 11, as well as the beautiful and thrilling beach bunkers at holes 7 and 10, are noteworthy features. Fairways are generally wide, allowing you to drive freely. The large bentgrass greens feature steep undulations with some two-tiered sections, and depending on pin position, there is a significant risk of three-putts—putting is key to scoring well.
