The course name derives from the Nikko Kaido and its cedar tree-lined avenue. The course is separated by pine, cypress, and Japanese hemlock trees, with very few cedar trees present. With an elevation change of only 8 meters, the terrain is unusually flat for this region. The forests lining both sides are natural woodlands over 50 years old, so wayward shots will significantly impact your score. This is a highly strategic course featuring ponds, creeks, and dogleg holes. GPS navigation has been installed to enhance tournaments and provide a comfortable golfing experience.
