This course was designed by Akahoshi Shiro, a famous course architect, and is one of the few remaining golf courses that features handcrafted design using picks and shovels. Taking advantage of the undulating terrain, high-speed greens are guarded by Alison-style bunkers, creating a layout that more experienced players will appreciate and find truly enjoyable. Despite being only approximately 8 minutes from Atami Station, the course sits at an elevation of 300 meters, offering views of the sea from nearly every hole, with vistas of Sagami Bay, Izu Oshima Island, Hatsushima Island, and the Atami cityscape. This course is played as 9 holes × 2 rounds per round. The tees used differ between the out and in nines. Half-round plans are also available.
