A grand panorama overlooking Suruga Bay and Mount Fuji. Players' competitive spirit is ignited by the undulations characteristic of a hand-built course and strategically rich holes. <<Course History - 71 Years of Heritage and Tradition>> On August 1st, 1954, a handmade golf course, the third oldest in Shizuoka Prefecture, opened on a highland in Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture, where you can enjoy views of the sacred Mount Fuji and Suruga Bay with no snow concerns in this warm climate. Its name is "Daifuji Golf Course" - built entirely by hand with pickaxes during an era when heavy machinery such as bulldozers was in short supply, preserving the natural state of the land. The natural "undulations" of the fairways await your challenge. <<Features and Highlights>> From the comfort of remote-controlled riding carts, skillfully navigate 14 clubs through a full set to challenge 6,353 yards, par 72. What makes this course interesting is the fairway undulations that preserve the natural rolling terrain. Simply hitting the ball far does not lead to good scores, and even members continue to return for re-challenges. The scenery overlooking Mount Fuji and Suruga Bay is simply spectacular. On the 18th hole, where you drive down toward Suruga Bay, pay attention to the wind.
